Gerard Reiter畢業(yè)于南昆士蘭大學工程與測量學院，他曾獲得南昆士蘭大學工程與測量學院授予的年度優(yōu)秀校友殊榮，他的成功很大程度上取決于他對機會的把握。

Gerard于1992年獲得南昆士蘭大學電子電氣工程學士學位(榮譽學位)，先后在澳大利亞昆士蘭、德國和瑞士等地從事工程工作。目前他是越網公司(TransGrid)基礎設施項目運輸的執(zhí)行總經理。他曾屢獲Powerlink卓越經營成就獎。
